IOSH Working Safely
Introduction
This course is designed as an introduction to health and safety for staff from any sector with no supervisory or managerial responsibility. It provides a grounding in the essentials of health and safety - everyone at work should have an understanding of why they must 'work safely'.
Who is this course for?
All staff in an organisation. This course can also form part of an induction training programme.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the course delegates will have an understanding of how their actions contribute to health and safety in the workplace and of their individual responsibilities. Delegates will be made aware of the requirements of major safety legislation and standards, to enable them to understand the need to formulate and implement health and safety procedures within their organisation.

Course Duration and Examination
One day, including multiple-choice questions and a paper based hazard spotting exercise lasting a maximum of 45 minutes.
