Introduction
Under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, employers have a responsibility to provide safe and healthy workplace conditions as well as safe systems and methods for workplace activities.
Accidents and illness can result in disability, death or incapacity for work. The supervisor is in an ideal and very responsible position to influence, monitor and train employees.
A supervisor has a legal and moral responsibility to look after the health and safety of employees, but needs to have the knowledge and skill to be able to do this effectively.
This course is independently accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health
